At Horlicks, our hot milky drinks have been helping people to sleep better for 70 years but during this time we have seen an increasing shift in sleep patterns due to society changes and work demands. You might not think that your sleep is affected, as most articles written about sleep concentrate on medical conditions such as sleep disorders and insomnia. Did you know, that 75% of the UK population wakes up feeling exhausted?

Here at Horlicks, we want everyone to rest easy at night and that's why we commissioned Dr Stanley to carry out a review called 'Making Time for Sleep'. The review highlighted the stresses and strains of modern day living that results in sleep deprivation for the average person. Dr Stanley calls this 'semisomnia'.
